Honest pricing, no surprises. Estimates are always free. I do need to see the instrument in person to provide a true estimate of labor and parts.

How I Charge

Simple stuff: I'll work while you watch, up to about an hour ~ for a premium. Real projects: Get real time, at the standard rate, with no fixed deadline. Long drives: Drop and pickup same day (if technically possible) ~ for a premium.

Labor Tracking

I use a timer to track my hours. Labor includes time and consumables like sandpaper and glue.

Common Estimates

🎸 General Maintenance

• Restring+ — $50-100 +strings (while you wait)
• Signature Setup — $100-150 + strings
• Nut or saddle replacement — $100ish

⚡ Electronics

• Rewire guitar electronics/pickups — $150-300
• Install acoustic pickup — $75-150

🔩 Fret Work

• Fret level, crown & dress — $150
• Full fret replacement — $350+

🔧 Repairs

• Re-glue acoustic bridge — $150
• Broken headstock — $150-300
• Cracks, structural repairs — $150-300 typically

🪵 Restoration

• Billed at labor rate — $75/hour + parts
