This is the detailed checklist I use for every guitar and bass that comes through my shop. I check off what's done and cross out what doesn't apply. You'll find notes at the bottom (by number) for anything you should know about your instrument.

Some of it may seem obvious or trivial, but rarely do I see a guitar where all the nuts and screws are tight. You'd be surprised how impactful a really complete maintenance job can be to the playability and enjoyment of your guitar.
